Recent reports from Stellantis Investor Day 2026 strongly suggest that Dodge is preparing a new flagship performance coupe under the revived SRT division. The upcoming model is expected to carry the name “Copperhead” and may become the brand’s next halo sports car.
For many performance car fans, this is one of the biggest Dodge stories in years. The original Viper ended production in 2017, leaving a major gap in the American sports car market. Now, Dodge appears ready to bring back a raw and aggressive performance machine once again.
Dodge Copperhead Could Become the New Face of SRT
According to multiple automotive reports, the new Dodge Copperhead will lead the reborn SRT lineup. The company recently confirmed that SRT will return with several high performance models across Dodge, Ram, and Jeep brands by the end of the decade.
The Copperhead is expected to sit at the top of that lineup. Early previews shown privately to journalists reportedly revealed a low and wide two door coupe with serious aerodynamic styling. Several outlets described the car as aggressive, track focused, and heavily inspired by the Viper ACR.
