Sony has officially revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for October 2026. This month brings three games across racing, extraction shooter and cooperative action genres. The new PlayStation Plus games will be available from October 6 through November 2, giving members several weeks to add them to their libraries.

PlayStation Plus October Games
The October PlayStation Plus lineup includes F1 25 for PS5, Hunt: Showdown 1896 for PS5, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 for both PS5 and PS4. Sony says regional availability may vary, so players should check their local PlayStation Store.
F1 25 Comes to PlayStation Plus
F1 25 is the official game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship. The PS5 title includes Career mode and My Team 2.0, allowing players to manage their own Formula 1 team. Its F1 World mode also offers multiplayer racing where friends can compete as a squad against AI drivers.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 Joins PS Plus
The second PlayStation Plus game is Hunt: Showdown 1896. This PS5 extraction shooter combines monster hunting with competitive multiplayer. Players can hunt bosses, collect bounties and attempt to escape while facing rival Hunters. You can play alone or with up to two teammates.
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 completes the October PlayStation Plus selection. Available on PS5 and PS4, the game features voxel-style versions of giant enemies. Players can build a four-character team, rescue soldiers and customize their equipment before entering battle.
The game supports four-player online co-op and two-player local split-screen, giving players multiple ways to enjoy its large-scale battles.
September PS Plus Games Still Available
There is still time to claim the previous PlayStation Plus Monthly Games. Members have until October 5 to add Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes to their libraries.
More PlayStation Plus October Content
October also brings special extras for PlayStation Plus members. Spider-Man: Brand New Day avatars will be available through Sony Pictures Core from October 6 for a limited time. Members can also access horror-themed packs, including the Call of Duty: Warzone Horror Bundle on October 1, the Hunt: Showdown 1896 Starter Pack on October 6 and an Overwatch 2 Dragur Reinhardt pack with five Tier Skips on October 7.
