007 First Light Game Update 1.1.0 is now available, bringing the first major post-launch content update to IO Interactive’s James Bond game. Released on July 24, 2026, the patch introduces new TacSim missions, additional weapons, unlockable rewards and a large collection of fixes.
According to the update details, more than 200 reported issues have been addressed. The patch targets gameplay problems, crashes, progression blockers, enemy AI, achievements, user interface issues and mission-specific bugs.
New 007 First Light Update 1.1.0 Now Live
Update 1.1.0 follows several smaller patches released since the game arrived. While earlier updates focused heavily on technical fixes, this release combines improvements with new playable content.
Players can expect changes across the campaign and TacSim mode. The update is designed to improve stability while giving players more challenges and rewards to unlock.
Two New TacSim Escalations Added
One of the biggest additions is the arrival of two new TacSim Escalations. These challenges expand the game’s simulation-based content with fresh scenarios.
The new Escalations are called The Workshop and Extraction Avenues.
Both give players more opportunities to test different strategies and work toward additional rewards. This makes Update 1.1.0 more than a standard bug-fixing patch.
New Weapons Expand Bond’s Arsenal
Players can also unlock new weapons through the expanded TacSim content and progression.
The update adds the Stormberg .50 Cal, DRX-2 Machine Pistol and DRS-7 Silenced SMG as rewards.
These weapons offer different options for approaching challenges, from heavier firepower to more discreet combat. They also provide another reason for players to return to TacSim after completing existing content.
Diamond in the Rough Outfit Arrives
Weapons are not the only rewards included in the latest update. Players can also earn the Diamond in the Rough outfit.
The new outfit adds another cosmetic option for Bond and is connected to the expanded progression content. Together with the weapons and TacSim Escalations, it gives returning players several new objectives to complete.
More Than 200 Issues Addressed
A major part of 007 First Light patch 1.1.0 is focused on fixes and general polish.
More than 200 issues identified through player feedback and internal testing have been addressed. The improvements cover crashes, progression blockers, achievements, enemy AI behavior, interface problems and general gameplay bugs.
Mission-specific fixes are also included across multiple campaign missions. TacSim receives fixes as well, making this a broad update rather than one focused on a single part of the game.
Denuvo Reportedly Removed From PC Version
PC players also received an important change alongside the patch. Denuvo Anti-Tamper appears to have been removed from the Steam version of 007 First Light.
The change was not promoted as a major feature in the official patch announcement. However, SteamDB changes reported around the July 24 update indicate that Denuvo was removed.
For PC players, this is a notable development alongside the gameplay fixes and new content included in version 1.1.0.
Update 1.0.5 Came Before the Major Patch
Before Update 1.1.0, version 1.0.5 arrived on June 15, 2026. It restored fixes and quality-of-life improvements originally planned for Update 1.0.4.
Version 1.0.4 had been reverted after causing an offline-mode issue. Update 1.0.5 then addressed crashes, progression problems, memory and performance concerns, along with unusually large update sizes affecting the Microsoft Store PC version.
The update sequence has progressed through 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.0.3, 1.0.5 and now 1.1.0.
