Reliance Jio has introduced an aggressive new ₹200 OTT Pass that aims to redefine digital entertainment in India. The latest add-on pack combines access to premium OTT platforms, live television channels, mobile data, and unlimited 5G benefits under a single subscription plan.
The move comes as competition in India's streaming market intensifies and consumers increasingly seek affordable bundled entertainment solutions.
What's Included in the ₹200 Jio OTT Pass?
The newly launched OTT Pass offers subscribers access to more than 1,000 live TV channels through JioTV, including over 150 premium channels from leading broadcasters such as JioStar, Sony Entertainment, and Sun TV Network.
The package also includes subscriptions to 15 OTT platforms. Popular services bundled with the pass include YouTube Premium, JioHotstar Mobile, Prime Video Mobile, SonyLIV, and ZEE5.
In addition to content benefits, users receive 30GB of high-speed data with a validity period of 28 days. The pack also supports unlimited 5G usage for eligible subscribers.
Jio Expands Its Streaming Ecosystem
Reliance Jio continues to strengthen its entertainment ecosystem through separate platforms tailored for different devices.
JioTV remains the company's primary mobile and web-based streaming service. Available to Jio SIM users, the platform now offers more than 1,000 live channels across over 16 languages and includes a seven-day catch-up feature for missed programs.
Meanwhile, JioTV+ focuses on connected televisions and broadband customers. Integrated with JioFiber, JioAirFiber, and Android TV devices, the service delivers over 800 live digital channels while bringing content recommendations and discovery from more than 14 OTT partners into a single interface.

User Experience Shows Mixed Results
Recent user feedback highlights both strengths and challenges across Jio's streaming ecosystem.
Many subscribers have reported smooth live news streaming and stable sports broadcasts on Jio's 5G network. Features such as Picture-in-Picture mode have also improved multitasking on mobile devices.
However, some users have flagged issues including frequent advertisements, iOS app instability, login synchronization problems after subscription renewals, and occasional audio muting bugs on select Android 15 devices.
Strategic Timing Ahead of Jio Platforms IPO
The launch arrives at a crucial period for Jio Platforms as the company prepares for its highly anticipated public listing. Industry observers expect additional details regarding the proposed mega-IPO and broader digital growth strategy to emerge during the company's Annual General Meeting scheduled for June 19, 2026.
With its latest OTT Pass, Jio is strengthening its position as a one-stop destination for streaming entertainment, live television, and mobile connectivity, further intensifying competition in India's rapidly evolving digital content market.
