Ferrari has officially entered the electric vehicle segment with its first fully electric car, the Ferrari Luce. The new EV marks a major shift for the Italian performance car brand, which has traditionally focused on high-revving petrol engines and hybrid supercars. The company recently revealed the model globally, and customer deliveries are expected to begin toward the end of 2026.

Ferrari Electric Car Launch Details and Availability

Ferrari unveiled the Luce during a special global presentation in Rome. The electric grand tourer is expected to reach international markets in late 2026, while select bookings have already started in Europe and other premium markets. Reports suggest Ferrari will initially produce the EV in limited numbers to maintain exclusivity.

The company is also preparing dedicated EV production facilities at its Maranello plant in Italy to support future electric and hybrid models.

Ferrari Electric Car Price Expectations

The Ferrari Luce electric car is positioned as an ultra-luxury electric performance car. International reports suggest the starting price is around €550,000, which converts to nearly ₹6 crore to ₹7 crore in India before taxes and import duties.

With additional taxes and customization options, the on-road price in India could go even higher. Ferrari is targeting premium collectors and performance car buyers rather than the mass EV market.
