Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 electric motorcycle side profile

Royal Enfield goes electric! Meet the Flying Flea C6: a retro-styled, lightweight EV with a 154km range and premium tech, built perfectly for your daily city commutes.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 marks a new chapter for the brand as it steps into the electric motorcycle space. Known for its classic petrol bikes, Royal Enfield has taken a different route here by introducing a lightweight, city-focused electric model. The Flying Flea name itself comes from the company’s World War-era motorcycles, and that inspiration is clearly visible in the design and concept.

Design and Styling

The Flying Flea C6 follows a minimal and compact design. It looks quite different from traditional Royal Enfield bikes, which are usually bulky and heavy. This one is slim, lightweight, and built mainly for urban riding.

The exposed frame, floating seat, and simple body panels give it a clean and functional look. It carries a mix of retro inspiration and modern touches. The round headlamp and basic silhouette hint at its heritage, while the materials and finish bring in a contemporary feel. At around 124 kg, it is also one of the lightest motorcycles from the brand.

Features and Technology

Despite its simple appearance, the Flying Flea C6 comes with several modern features. It includes a digital instrument cluster, smartphone connectivity, and support for navigation and updates through an advanced system. Some reports also suggest that it runs on a connected platform with features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and over-the-air updates.

In terms of hardware, the bike gets disc brakes at both ends along with dual-channel ABS. The overall setup is designed to offer a balanced riding experience rather than aggressive performance.

Motor, Battery and Performance

The Flying Flea C6 is powered by an electric motor paired with a battery pack of around 3.9 kWh. It produces roughly 20 bhp and offers smooth acceleration suitable for city conditions.

The top speed is reported to be around 115 km/h, which is enough for daily commuting as well as occasional highway use. Charging from 0 to 80 percent takes a little over an hour with a fast charger, making it practical for regular use.

Mileage (Range)

Since this is an electric motorcycle, mileage is measured in range. The Flying Flea C6 offers a claimed range of around 154 km on a full charge, depending on riding conditions.

This range puts it in a comfortable position for city riders who need a reliable daily commute option without frequent charging.

Price in India

The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 price is currently set at around ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom). However, with a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option, the effective starting price can go down to about ₹1.99 lakh.

On-road prices may vary depending on the city, but estimates suggest it could be slightly above ₹2 lakh in many regions.

Final Verdict

The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 is clearly aimed at urban riders who want something different from conventional petrol bikes. It focuses on lightweight design, practical range, and modern connectivity rather than raw power.

For Royal Enfield, this model is less about replacing its classic motorcycles and more about exploring a new direction. It will be interesting to see how buyers respond as the electric bike segment continues to grow in India.
