CD PROJEKT RED has confirmed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered will launch on September 29, 2026.
The Witcher 3 Remastered Release Date
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered will arrive on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Battle.net. The Nintendo Switch 2 edition is a native version designed to take advantage of the newer hardware.
For existing players, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered is being offered as a free upgrade on qualifying platforms. This gives longtime owners a new way to experience Geralt's journey without purchasing the game again.
Major Visual and Gameplay Improvements
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered brings upgrades across several parts of the game. Players can expect improved visuals and performance alongside enhanced combat, movement, traversal, and animations.
CD PROJEKT RED is also updating Witcher Sign effects, mount handling, monster behavior, the skill and character progression system, and finishers. The remaster will also add transmogrification and an expanded photo mode.
