In this chaotic realm, gods from multiple mythologies are clashing over dangerous cosmic magic. Faye discovers that her intricate plans to protect Kratos and Atreus are in danger. To safeguard her family, she must fight dirty against overwhelming odds.
Unlikely Allies and Creative Direction
Faye will not be alone in this strange afterlife. In God of War Laufey, she is aided by two unique companions. A witty cosmic cube named Phranque, voiced by Jack Quaid, brings humor to the dark realm. She also journeys with Rue, a ribbon-bound guardian weapon voiced by Perlina Lau.
This ambitious project is being led by director Ariel Lawrence. The team is dedicated to bringing a fresh perspective to the franchise while keeping the intense action fans love.
The Future of Kratos
If you are wondering about Kratos, there is good news. Santa Monica Studio's Head of Creative, Cory Barlog, confirmed that a separate, Kratos-led game is currently in active development. This second game will intertwine directly with the events of God of War Laufey, creating a massive connected story.
