The 160cc motorcycle segment just witnessed a massive shake-up. Bajaj Auto has officially expanded its popular lineup by launching two advanced 4-valve variants: the Pulsar N160 S and the range-topping Pulsar N160 SS.

A Fresh Leap in Engine Performance
The biggest news lies under the fuel tank. Bajaj has introduced an all-new 164.5cc oil-cooled 4-valve engine for the N160 S and N160 SS variants. This new motorcycle pumps out a healthy 18.5 PS of power and 14.4 Nm of torque.
In comparison, the base standard Pulsar N160 relies on the older 164.9cc air-cooled 2-valve engine. The older engine makes 15.8 bhp of power and 14.65 Nm of torque. The extra valves in the new models allow the engine to breathe better at high speeds, giving riders a much punchier performance.

The entry-level Standard Bajaj Pulsar N160 with the 2V engine tops out at ₹1,32,000. Moving up, the new 4V Pulsar N160 S is priced at ₹1,33,511. If you want all the premium bells and whistles, the top-spec Pulsar N160 SS comes in at ₹1,42,585 (all prices average ex-showroom, Delhi).

Safety gets a major boost on the flagship N160 SS variant. Bajaj has added a dedicated Traction Control system to the package.

Premium Upside-Down Front Forks

The standard 2V Pulsar N160 still uses a more traditional 33mm telescopic fork layout, making the 4V models feel much tighter around corners.
