A Georgia Lottery player has won $2 million from a scratch off ticket as other players celebrate major Fantasy 5 and Keno! prizes.
Georgia Lottery players are celebrating several major wins after tickets and games produced prizes ranging from $10,000 to $2 million. The biggest prize came from a scratch off ticket purchased in Martinez, while players connected to Sylvania and Lincolnton also landed significant payouts.
The wins come as two major US lottery jackpots have grown substantially, with Mega Millions reaching an estimated $800 million and Powerball climbing to an estimated $663 million.
$2 Million Scratch Off Prize Won in Martinez
A Georgia Lottery player won $2 million from the Jackpots Galore scratch off game. According to the information provided by the Georgia Lottery Corporation, the winning ticket was purchased on July 24 at Junior Food Store, located at 500 Flowing Wells Road in Martinez, Georgia.
The large scratch off win was not the only notable Georgia Lottery prize reported during the period.
Fantasy 5 Player Wins $150,000
Another player won $150,000 in the Fantasy 5 drawing held on July 25. The winning ticket matched all five numbers drawn, securing the top prize.
The ticket was purchased at Short Stop, located at 1480 Millen Highway in Sylvania. This gave Screven County another major lottery winner shortly after the $2 million scratch off prize was purchased in Martinez.
Meanwhile, a player in Lincolnton also had reason to celebrate. The Georgia Lottery reported that the player won $10,000 playing Keno! on July 25. Unlike the other winning tickets, this prize came through the Georgia Lottery mobile app.
Mega Millions and Powerball Jackpots Grow
Even larger prizes are available in upcoming national lottery drawings. The Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to an estimated $800 million, with an estimated cash option of $344.2 million.
Powerball has also grown significantly, reaching an estimated $663 million jackpot with a $290.4 million cash option. Its next drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29, at 11 p.m. ET.
With a $2 million scratch off winner, a $150,000 Fantasy 5 prize and a $10,000 Keno! win, Georgia Lottery players have already seen several substantial payouts as attention now turns toward the much larger Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots.
