Sony has announced a major update for PlayStation Plus subscribers, bringing new pricing changes, the June 2026 free games lineup, fresh Game Catalog additions, and several limited-time rewards through the Days of Play 2026 celebration.
The update affects multiple regions and introduces higher costs for short-term memberships. At the same time, PlayStation players are getting access to new games, exclusive content packs, and discounted subscription offers.
PlayStation Plus Monthly and Quarterly Plans Become More Expensive
Sony has increased the price of one-month and three-month PlayStation Plus subscriptions across all membership tiers. The change mainly impacts players who prefer shorter plans instead of yearly subscriptions.
The updated pricing includes:
PS Plus Essential: $10.99 / £7.99 per month
PS Plus Extra: $16.99 / £11.99 per month and $43.99 / £34.99 for three months
PS Plus Premium: $19.99 / £14.99 per month and $54.99 / £43.99 for three months
Annual subscriptions remain unchanged in most regions for now. The 12-month plans continue to cost $79.99 for Essential, $134.99 for Extra, and $159.99 for Premium.
Sony has also indicated that many existing subscribers will keep their current pricing unless their membership expires or they switch plans. However, some markets have seen wider pricing adjustments. In India, for example, Sony recently increased prices across all subscription durations, including yearly memberships.
June 2026 PlayStation Plus Monthly Games Confirmed
As part of the Days of Play promotion, Sony revealed June's PlayStation Plus Monthly Games earlier than usual.
Subscribers across all PlayStation Plus tiers can download and keep the following games from June 2 through July 6, 2026:
Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition
Originally developed by Obsidian Entertainment, Grounded places players in a backyard after being shrunk to the size of an insect. The Fully Yoked Edition includes major updates, new challenges, additional equipment, and a New Game+ mode. The game supports cooperative multiplayer and will be available on both PS5 and PS4.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide
This intense co-op action shooter drops players into the grim Warhammer universe. Teams of up to four players battle massive enemy hordes while customizing their characters and combat styles. The title is available exclusively on PS5.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2
Fans of arcade fighting games will get access to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2. The game features popular characters from franchises such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Both PS4 and PS5 players can claim it.
EA Sports FC 26 Gets Extra Time on PlayStation Plus
Sony has also extended access to EA Sports FC 26, which was originally part of the May 2026 lineup.
The football title will remain available to claim until June 16, giving subscribers additional time to add it to their libraries. Players can continue accessing the game after claiming it as long as their PlayStation Plus membership remains active.
Destiny 2: Legacy Collection Joins the Game Catalog
Extra and Premium members are getting another major addition next month.
Sony confirmed that Destiny 2: Legacy Collection (2025) will enter the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on June 9. The package includes multiple expansions, including The Final Shape, making it one of the biggest catalog additions announced so far this year.
The full June Game Catalog lineup will be revealed later. Meanwhile, current catalog highlights already include major releases such as Star Wars Outlaws, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn.
Days of Play 2026 Brings Subscription Discounts and Bonus Content
Sony's annual Days of Play event runs from May 27 to June 10, 2026, offering a mix of discounts, rewards, and exclusive content.
One of the biggest offers allows eligible players to save up to 33% on selected 12-month PlayStation Plus memberships and upgrades during the promotional period. The event also includes discounts on games, accessories, headsets, controllers, and PlayStation VR2 hardware.

Exclusive Free Packs and New Avatars Available
PlayStation Plus members can also claim several bonus in-game rewards during Days of Play.
Available content includes:
- EA Sports FC 26 Icons Player Pack
- Marathon Null Tempest Digital Bundle
- World of Tanks special PlayStation Plus Pack
Sony is also releasing free PlayStation Indies-themed profile avatars on June 4. All PlayStation players can redeem these avatars at no additional cost through official PlayStation channels. Premium and Deluxe subscribers will also gain access to more than 40 indie game trials during the event period.
