Vivo is getting ready to launch its newest mid-range smartphone called the Vivo Y600 Pro 5G smartphone in China. Even before any official announcement, this phone has already been spotted on multiple platforms giving us a clear picture of what to expect. The Vivo Y600 Pro 5G smartphone has appeared on the China Telecom website along with China's 3C certification database under the model number V2561A. These are trusted platforms so the information revealed there is considered quite reliable.

Along with the hardware leaks the Vivo Y600 Pro also showed up on Geekbench which is a popular platform used to test smartphone performance. According to the Geekbench listing the phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6858 chipset which belongs to the Dimensity 7000 series. The processor has eight cores in total with four efficiency cores running at 2GHz and four performance cores running at 2.5GHz.
The tested unit had 12GB of RAM and it scored 1,036 points in the single core test and 3,103 points in the multi core test. These numbers confirm that the Vivo Y600 Pro is a capable mid-range device that can handle everyday tasks and moderate multitasking without any trouble.
