Apps: A collection of extra tools inside Canva, such as mockups, QR codes, and special text tools.
Next to that main sidebar you will also see sections like Starred, Starred for team, and Recent. You can star any design to pin it to the side so you do not have to search for it each time.
Creating Your First Design
To start a new project, click the Create a design button in the top-right corner of the homepage.
A popup appears with three main options:

Free vs Pro Content Inside Canva
All across Canva, you will notice a small crown icon on some items. That icon means the feature or element is for Canva Pro users.

If you are using the free version and add a Pro element to your design, your download will have a watermark unless you pay to remove it. There are still many free options without the crown, so you can design plenty without upgrading.

When your design is ready, click Share in the top-right corner, then choose Download.

You can download as:

If you are making printable products, you want at least 300 DPI so your file prints sharp instead of blurry.
PDF Print downloads at 300 DPI by default and is perfect for printables, planners, and worksheets. Canva Pro users can also choose a CMYK color profile for better print results.
Other file types, like JPG and PNG, default to 96 DPI. With Canva Pro, you can use the size and quality sliders at download to raise the resolution.
